Veteran wellbeing, in West End

Wellness Hub

Moving forward after service takes more than a claim. The VetComp Wellness Hub brings training, allied health and people who understand service together under one roof, with exercise physiology and dietitian care on site from our partner Valour Health & Performance.

Why a Wellness Hub

Support for the whole person

Service shapes more than your body. Injuries, transition and long claims affect training, work, family and routine. The Wellness Hub looks after the whole picture: somewhere to train, clinical support when you need it, people who get it, and help with your DVA entitlements, all in one place.

VetComp

Your claim and the Hub

Our advocates prepare and lodge your DVA claim and keep you informed at every stage. VetComp also owns the Wellness Hub, so the support you get here sits alongside your claim, not apart from it.

Valour Health & Performance

Your allied health care

Valour's clinicians deliver exercise physiology and dietitian services at the Hub, helping you build capacity, manage injury and fuel recovery. GP referral required.

VetComp does not provide medical advice. All allied health services at the Wellness Hub are delivered by Valour Health & Performance and its clinicians.

Part of the Hub: the gym

A gym built for veterans, by veterans

The gym is one part of the Wellness Hub, and the place most veterans start. VetComp, a veteran owned and operated business, fitted it out with hand-picked equipment chosen for people who train hard. ADF veterans train at no cost, under a mural honouring Australian soldiers who served.

It's somewhere to rebuild routine, get stronger and train alongside people who understand service. You don't need to be a VetComp client to use it.

  • Free gym access for ADF veterans
  • Hand-picked strength and cardio equipment
  • Open to all ADF veterans, not just VetComp clients
  • Allied health on site from Valour, via GP referral

Questions veterans ask

Before you get started

Is the gym really free for ADF veterans?

Yes. Free gym access is a core part of the Wellness Hub for ADF veterans. Send an enquiry and we'll explain how to get set up.

Do I need to be a VetComp client to use the gym?

No, you don't. We set the Wellness Hub up that way on purpose. Free gym access is open to ADF veterans whether or not VetComp is helping with your claim.

Do I need a GP referral?

Exercise physiology and dietitian services require a GP referral before treatment. For gym access, get in touch and we'll clarify the process for your situation. VetComp does not provide any clinical or allied health services.

Can allied health services be DVA-funded?

They may be for eligible veterans, subject to DVA eligibility, referral requirements and approved services. Final funding depends on your individual circumstances.

Where is the Wellness Hub?

At our new home, 5A 305 Montague Road, West End QLD 4101.
