VetComp Takes on Run Army 2026

The VetComp team hit the pavement in South Bank for 10km, showing up and stepping up for a great cause.

Showing Up, Stepping Up for Our Veterans

📆 Date: March 29, 2026
📌 Location: South Bank, Brisbane

It was an early start, but the energy on the ground made it all worthwhile. Some eager runners from VetComp took on the 10km run, some even taking on the Chiefs Challenge. Health and fitness are a key part of our culture, and events like this give us a chance to step away from the desk and put that into action. It is also an opportunity to come together as a team outside of the workplace and support something bigger than ourselves.

The turnout across the event was strong, with people from all walks of life showing up in support. From seasoned runners to casual participants, the atmosphere was positive and motivating from start to finish.
We are proud to stand behind initiatives and did so by also contributing to the $135,533 in donations for the event.

The team at VetComp look forward to taking on more challenges together and showing up for our veterans.

Why Run Army Matters?

Run Army is more than just a running event. It is a chance for everyday Australians to stand alongside those who dedicate their lives to protecting the country. The event raises funds for multiple charities, all of which support our veterans and our nation’s first responders. It brings people of all fitness levels together in a shared experience, whether they are running, walking, or simply showing support on the day. That sense of unity is what makes the event stand out.

By taking part, we are not only focusing on our own health and wellbeing, but also contributing to a wider show of respect and support for veterans across Australia.
